Health & Wellbeing

Kingston Eco-Op works closely with its partners to provide a variety of physical and mental wellbeing activities. We also signpost our clients to activities outside of the project that may be beneficial to them according to their particular interests and needs.

YMCA - As part of the Inclusive Lives project, the YMCA run courses for mental wellbeing such as 'Laughs and Scarves' plus seated exercise sessions. We also link our clients to Life Skills courses and food-based courses run by the YMCA project, and access their local facilities for badminton sessions.

Go-Cycle - A facilitator of our popular Bike Afternoons. They provide a selection of accessible bikes that allow individuals of varying needs to enjoy the experience of cycling.

London Sport - A recent grant has provided Eco-Op an opportunity to run Boccia Club and Walk Club every week, encouraging exercise that is tailored to each individuals' ability and goals. Boccia is a specifically-designed inclusive sport that anyone can particpiate in, regardless of ability.
