With some very special VIPs

On Wednesday 24th April 2019, The Basement of the John Bunyan Church was awash with bunting and balloons as we welcomed colleagues, friends, representatives from partner groups and local councils to our 10th Anniversary celebration. We were also joined by the Mayor of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, Councillor Thay Thayalan, and Sir Edward Davey, MP for Kingston and Surbiton.

Edward Davey helped to open the project 10 years ago and it was a joy to welcome him back and see how far the project has come. He continued the celebratory vibe by cutting the cake with Mr Mayor and our clients, and then getting everybody together for the group photo! We are extremely proud of our client group, all of whom were involved in planning the event and making preparations for the day. A group made the event cake with a professional chef; our artistic group worked on the 10 year photo scrapbook; and on the day we had clients welcoming visitors, manning the drinks stand, selling t-shirts and looking after the visitor's book. We firmly believe in offering 'belonging' and 'opportunity' for everyone, and truly celebrated this together.

Thank you to everyone who attended and hope you enjoyed the party!
