Mind in Kingston's involvement with Kingston Eco-op
Mind in Kingston are partners within the Kingston Eco-op to provide support and mentoring to service users, paid staff and volunteers.
A major part of any supported employment skills and training project is the development of a person's social opportunities to encourage independence and mental health wellbeing. Mind in Kingston have a dedicated the resources of a Service User Development Worker to organising social events for people to attend. The ideas for these events are discussed at the service user meetings.
Mind in Kingston also provide clinical supervision for managers and supervising staff at Kingston Eco-op to help promote good practice in supporting people.
