Our ethos:

We are a project managed by Kingston Voluntary Action (Charity Incorporated Organisation 1160403) and aim to effect personal and social change by:

• Reducing isolation
• Increasing self-confidence and esteem
• Developing skills for self-help and mutual support
• Learning new skills
• Educating, caring and becoming involved with the local community

We pride ourselves on being an all inclusive community and our ethos is to provide a safe, supported and positive space, creating a friendly atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

We aim to reduce isolation and increase self confidence through social activities and learning.

Our experienced staff team will welcome people with a learning disability and/or mental health concern to our community and offer person centred support for our members to engage with activities or sessions of their choosing.

Informed practice: Our staff team use their experience of neurodiverse individuals and social care to ensure our members get the support they need.

Developing expertise: Team members are offered training opportunities to enhance their skills and continue their professional development.

Evidence based practice:  The management team research up-to-date approaches to inform policies and guidance.
